#5 Goldeneye 007

I was never a fan of FPS's, sadly. I do not have the quickest reflexes that are vital with such a demanding genre. This game, however, is pure fun, whether single mode or multiplayer. There are a multitude of weapons to choose from, ranging from a watch laser that can cut a whole through a train floor or the Golden Gun which can one-hit kill most foes. I used to love putting in cheats for this game because the weapons were so much fun. In single player mode, the objectives are very-well thought out and the different modes of difficulty definitely add to the fun. There are 20 levels each with these different objectives that can range from neutralizing alarms to killing an important villain. Multiplayer mode has a variety of levels and game types to choose from and if one level or type gets old, give another a try! "Man with the Golden Gun" is always a frustrating one if you are the person who keeps getting killed by it, and "You Only live Twice" is just as it says: 2 kills and you are eliminated. There's even a couple handicapping options to choose from.

This game pretty much set the premise for quality FPS's and while there are many FPS's that exceed the now very outdated graphics of this game, you will have trouble finding one that has a fun factor of Goldeneye 007. Thus, I rank this as #5 on my all time favorite N64 games.
